Modern Bistro in Central Copenhagen

Great experience, would love to come back! The wine pairing is maybe a little pricey, but also good. It would have been nice with more wine pairing options – I'd have liked more red, only 1 of 4 glasses is red.

We had a really good experience at Rebel last Friday. The food, the wine and the service were all excellent. Special praise to the French waiter with the light, curly hair – unfortunately we didn't get his name. He was so good at playing along when we joked with him, in just the right way. He made the whole table laugh several times and really helped make the evening extra special. If we were to offer some constructive feedback, we missed small plates for the snacks served at the start. It got a bit impractical holding one snack after another in your hand – while trying not to spill everywhere.

Even better than the first time we visited... I like that you give full service even when guests come on "food vouchers". That's why we also spend more on drinks. The French waiter is sublime.

We visited Restaurant Rebel last week and chose their tasting menu – what an experience! Every single dish was a pleasant surprise. The flavours were beautifully combined, the ingredients were high quality, and the plating was both beautiful and creative. You could really feel the passion behind the food. The service also deserves high praise. The staff were smiling, attentive and very skilled. They presented the dishes in a nice, relaxed way and made us feel welcome all evening. The atmosphere was cosy and informal, while the experience still felt exclusive. It's rare that food, service and atmosphere all come together so perfectly – but they did here. Thank you for a fantastic evening. We'll definitely be back and warmly recommend Restaurant Rebel to anyone who loves gastronomy and great experiences.

We had a lovely evening with 5 different snacks followed by a starter, main course, dessert and coffee. We had also ordered a wine pairing with 4 glasses. The food has great flavour and they clearly know what they're doing in the kitchen. Unfortunately, the wines are served in far too large glasses, so it looks like you don't get much in the glass. Food and drinks were served by 4 different waiters who didn't speak Danish. They can be hard to understand, especially when the restaurant is a bit noisy. Price relative to quality and portion size perhaps didn't quite live up to my expectations.

We had a lovely experience at Rebel yesterday, which I warmly recommend. The staff were friendly and we felt at home. They knew what they were talking about when presenting the menu. A little shaky on questions about one of the wines! Super delicious food and wine pairing, so it was a lovely evening. If you love good food and wine, you definitely won't be disappointed!
